As a South African, I am disappointed that Elon Musk is not celebrated in South Africa. He is one of the most outstanding entrepreneurs of our time. He’s revolutionised big industries, and He’s respected worldwide. Yet people in South Africa people don’t know who He is. The fact that He’s South Africa, born in Pretoria which makes this even more shocking.
I encourage my fellow South Africans to learn Elon’s entrepreneurial journey and see what He’s been able to do and what He continues to do. For me, Elon Musk is a mentor. Whenever things aren’t going my way or need that motivational push, I channel Elon Musk.
Bloomberg’s excellent documentary on Elon Musk is a must-watch for any entrepreneur and all South Africans. Come, South Africa, we need to start celebrating our heroes and forget about the other negative bullsh**t.
